A Vietnamese pronunciation app that shows you your voice

Most language apps grade you right or wrong. This one draws what your voice did, next to what a native speaker's did, and lets you see the gap.

Why a curve and not a score

A score tells you that you failed. It does not tell you which way you failed, and pitch has two directions. Told "wrong", most learners try harder — louder, slower, more tense — which usually makes it worse.

The reference curves are averaged from 47 native speakers, twenty points per syllable. Not one teacher, once.

What is in it

• One hundred chapters, from the vowels to conversations, each one built around what it actually teaches
• Pitch measurement on every syllable and every phrase you say out loud
• Your old curves kept — compare today with a month ago, because tone progress is invisible week to week and that is why people quit
• Spaced review on productive units — a tone, a morpheme, a social relation — not on flashcards
• Northern or southern, chosen up front, so you learn one system instead of two
• Who you are talking to — Vietnamese has no neutral "I" or "you", and apps that teach only tôi produce learners who sound distant in every sentence

What it does not do

No streaks, no leagues, no XP. A points counter goes up whether or not you learned anything, so it means nothing — and a broken streak is a documented reason people stop. What the app tracks instead is measured: how well you did on material you had never seen before.

That number can go down. That is honest, and a real regression should be visible.

Free, offline, and it works without an account

All hundred chapters, the voice measurement, the review queue: free, and they work with no network. An account only exists so your progress survives a lost phone and follows you between devices. Nothing is locked behind it.
