The short version
The whole course is free, and no chapter is ever locked. The subscription removes the ads and the daily limit — nothing else. Monthly and yearly renew on their own until you stop them; lifetime is paid once.
Who publishes the app
Việt Nói is published by Vietnoi App. Using the app, the website, or any part of either means you accept what is written here. For anything at all, write to [email protected] — every message sent there gets an answer.
What you may do with it
You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the app to learn, on the devices you own. That right is not sold to you and it does not expire on its own.
What you may not do:
- redistribute, resell, or republish the lessons, the recordings, or the written content, whole or in part;
- take the audio out of the app to build another product with it;
- work around the free-tier limits, the account, or the payment.
Everything in the app — the text, the recordings, the drawings, the code — belongs to the publisher, except the third-party works whose licences are named on the site.
What the free version gives you
All of it: every chapter, every lesson, every test. The free version limits how much you can do in a day, and it offers ads you choose to watch to lift that limit for a while. It never limits what you may learn.
The subscription

The price shown when you buy is the price charged, in your own currency. On iPhone and iPad the App Store sets it, on Android Google Play does, and on the website Stripe does. A renewing plan is charged within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
Stopping it
You stop a subscription from the store that sold it — App Store settings on an Apple device, Google Play on Android, the link in your Stripe receipt on the web. Not from inside the app: the publisher cannot cancel a subscription it never took payment for.
What you have already paid for runs to the end of the period. Nothing is cut short.
Refunds are handled by whoever took the money, under their own rules — Apple, Google, or Stripe. If you believe something went wrong, write to us anyway: we can look at what the receipt says.
Your account
An account is optional. The app is complete without one, and works offline. An account exists to back your progress up and carry it to another device.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the address you sign in with. You can delete the account at any moment, from Menu → Account → Delete this account; deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. What we keep, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.
An account may be closed by the publisher if it is used to redistribute the content or to work around the payment. You would be told, and told why.
What is not promised
The app is offered as it is. It is a teaching tool, not a certification, and it makes no promise about how fast you will learn or how far you will get.
The recordings are northern Vietnamese, reviewed by a native speaker. Real speech varies by region, by generation, and by person; a difference between the app and someone you know is not necessarily a mistake in either.
Within what the law allows, the publisher is not liable for indirect damage, loss of data held only on your device, or a service outage at a third party. Nothing here removes the rights the law gives you as a consumer, and in France those rights are considerable.
Apple, on Apple devices
These terms are between you and the publisher, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. If the app fails to conform to these terms, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price if there was one; beyond that refund, Apple has no other obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Which law applies
French law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you keep the protection of your own country's law and may bring a dispute before the courts there. Before going to court, write to us — most things end there.
If this text changes
The date at the top says when. A change that would reduce what you get, or raise what you pay, is announced in the app before it takes effect, not after — and a price change never applies to a period already paid for.
